Tilghman Pressure Fed Hand Blast Cabinet
Reborn Tilghman Pressure Fed hand blast cabinet complete with dust extraction / collection system. Machine is supplied with A 3ft cubed work chamber which is rubber lined to protect the structure from the blast and has a guillotine type door complete with gloved hand access ports and viewing window. The perforated plate work surface is a very heavy duty 12mm thick plate. The power to the hand held nozzle is generated by a floor level pressure pot situated beneath the blast cabinet. Spent abrasive flows directly to the pressure pot to be regenerated to the nozzle. Due to the powerful dust extraction system visibility within the work space is excellent and any kind of abrasive media can be used. Operation of the system is by a foot operated pedal providing the operator with a comfortable working position. The structure of the cabinet is much more robust than those produced today and examples of the machines can be seen having been in regular use for over 30 years.
