Roller Conveyor shot blasters are the solution for long or flat components (or fabrications). The process is carried out by passing the workpiece through a series of chambers (to contain all blast media and dust). The item to be blasted is placed upon powered rollers and driven through a pre-chamber before reaching turbines delivering the abrasive to the surface. The part then passes through a cleaning chamber (to remove any media remaining on the surface) before exiting onto a further roller bed.

Turbines delivering the abrasive are typically set above and below the work chamber to ensure single pass coverage and the motor power ratings for each turbine will determine the pass through speed (1.5 metres per minute being typical but 3 metres is achievable with the correct turbine/ motor sizes).
